 Hello everyone. It has been quite some time since I have written a blog, which I do apologize for. I have many things going on in my personal life health wise that keep's me away at times.
First off, let me thank my wonderful admins for keeping the group running so smoothly. Your help and dedication to the group means so very much. I couldn't do it without you all. :huggle:
So everyone lets give a warm thank you to: :icondiluculi:  :iconmagicaljoey:  and :iconlior-art:.

Now the reason for this journal. A Safe Haven was design and still is meant to be a place where all of you should feel safe, no matter what horrors you've been through. There are many horrors and I want to address the victims of one of them:

Rape

I came across this project..."I Am Brave Campaign" thanks to :icondiluculi:. She brought it to my attention last night. After watching it a couple of times I wanted to share this with the group.
The woman, Linor Abagil, made a documentation, called "Brave Miss World" after her own tragic experience. In 1998, Linor Abagil won the title of Miss World. But six weeks before the final and her coronation, she was raped. This film not only speaks about her experience but many others who are finally breaking the silence. It's about how rape can destroy a person even after years have passed and victims finally talking about their own experiences.

Here is the link www.bravemissworld.com/

It is a brave thing to do, being able to finally speak up. I know some people can't for their own reasons and may use other forms, like art hopefully to express themselves. It is hard, that is why I wanted to share this for those whom might be interested.

Sincerely,

DarlingAngel :iconcocoloveplz:
