This Deserves a Feature On Its Own
Because the reception it's receiving now is actually becoming really, really surprising and I'm so damn happy to see this. All of you guys are inspiring me and I thank you all for being fearless. Thank you all for being so freaking beautiful and honest and amazing in your own perfectly imperfect skin. This is why I called myself chromeantennae (https://www.deviantart.com/chromeantennae) because I want to spread my message and I never expected anyone to listen, but now that people are-- it's so humbling. This is exactly what I want to do with my time here. I want to inspire creation and right now this is exactly what is happening and I couldn't be prouder.
With suggestion, I

For anyone who has/is contemplated/ing suicide...
For years and years and years I've had on and off suicidal thoughts and tendencies. I've attempted suicide about eight times. I never really thought how much pain I would inflict on anyone around me because to myself I was completely worthless.
Well, tonight my sister had just found out her college friend was just found dead. He had been missing for several days. He had killed himself. The moment she read the news report online to check and see if he was found yet or not, she immediately began to sob and wail. She collapsed on the floor and I held her as she cried. She had known him for a couple years.
Now, to those who have thought about s

How to see with Closed Eyes (Pt.2)
How I've come to see things is one of the reasons I take such a high liking to story telling in the media, and to explain, I don't mean the corrupted muckraking system by which the information of day to day civilization is so rigidly disseminated (The News), but I mean entertainment! Video games, Cinema, literature, music, and so on and so forth. These wonderful, fantastic inventions granted to us by God given ability hold the potential to create glorious tales of varied genres. It's the good ones that make you think from another perspective than your own, and do so with an open mind do to a story that was told to your liking rather than mere

How to see with Closed Eyes (Pt.1)
Whosoever enfeebles the purpose of the phrase 'things could be worse', does not hold an understanding of the misfortunes of existence. They are likely experiencing a first test of sorts, or are simply unfamiliar, or ignorant to the stories behind the darker reaches of life on earth. Yet even then, in the absence of understanding, eyes are eyes that can used to chose a perception of whatever it is they see. Should things ever escalate to the hypothetical result of the current meaning of when people say the phrase 'things could be worse', then less and less people will use the phrase as the world around them becomes more and more bleak. I have

Consider this a more detailed version of my other pieces, 'Genesis 1:1-31' and 'Wisdom and Intellect', concerning the ideas and theories behind the origin of the universe. I very much enjoy writing on the subject that God is so much more than many understand Him to be. It's both a way for me to help others understand God (as I see Him, these are just my opinions based on my studies and experience) as well as a way to praise Him and His glory. Here are some links for those who may be unfamiliar with a few things I intend to cover in this exhortation.

I cannot believe I just saw an add for "dating site" for married people to have affairs...It saddens me that debauchery and lust have become so commonplace in our society. Just about everything has become sexualized, even shows meant for families have characters that are either hardly wearing anything, wearing an obscene amount of makeup, or acting trashy. Everything has to have some sort of sexuality involved, and what makes it even worse is that it's almost always for a bloody paycheck. Whether it's porn, or cable tv, or cinema, more often than not, you can't go 10 minutes without having to be reminded of the human anatomy. And on top of th
To blame God for human faults is asinine, if not childish. It is human nature of course to find blame in something for an almost unexplainable evil or hardship. Yet it is also human nature to allow pride to overcome humility in where we are the ones to blame. If God did not wish to allow for any occurrence in time, then why, pray tell, would our omnipotent Creator allow for it to even take place?
When at the age of a small child, would you not act in ways that you knew would toss you into trouble with your parents? And when caught, more often than not, one of two things would take place: if alone, you would claim to either not know wha
To me there is a fine line between wisdom and intelligence. Intelligence is the simple prospect of knowing while wisdom is both contemplation and perspective. Take for example, astronomy. It is truly a fascinating subject, and the universe is a vast and wondrous place of both unknown beauty and terror. However there are those who with their made up rules, laws and theories, think to "determine" the answers to questions concerning the realm beyond our little world. Stephen Hawking for example, is one to believe that "we no longer need God, because we know everything. Such an idea is foolish. Truth be told, their is just as much faith required

"Greed has poisoned men's souls, has barricaded the world with hate, has goose-stepped us into misery and bloodshed. We have developed speed, but we have shut ourselves in. Machinery that gives abundance has left us in want." -Charlie Chaplin, "The Great Dictator"
Today is an age in where money pulls more strings than ever before. There is a higher lack of shame in the places where dignity and morality should lie. In light of recent events, such as this incident with Ethan Couch (http://www.cnn.com/2013/12/11/us/texas-teen-dwi-wreck/), I felt that i should write on the subject of avarice. As stated by Charlie Chaplin, "Greed has poisoned men
Please play the song while viewing this journal. I've tried my hardest to create a, well, a kind of experience for you. The music plays a crucial role in delivering that experience and a very important message. I promise you won't regret it. Just make sure the whole journal is loaded, turn on your speakers, push play, and start scrolling. The song is about 4 minutes so keep that in mind as you scroll.
